Hey Guys, so I am thinking of slowly Upgrading my system, and I am thinking of acquiring this new GPU: XFX RX 5700 Xt Thicc III Ultra 8GB Boost Up to 2025MHz GDDR6 3xDP HDMI Graphics Card (Rx-57XT8TBD8)
My current build is: CPU: Amd Ryzen 2600x GPU:Nvidia Gtx 1060 ftw 6GB, Ram 16 Gb, and mother Board : B450 Aorus Pro Wifi.

So I was wondering if its posible to upgrade to that GPU with my current board and set up, please help me guys.

Thank you so much in advance.

Maybe get a Ryzen 5 3600 instead, or if you are willing to spend extra, and wait a bit, get a Ryzen 5 5600. If you can't wait, get the 3600 or 3600x, as the 5600 and 5600x's just came out and are hard to get. You could absolutely use the 5700xt with your current processor, but there will be some loss of performance. My brother has a 5600xt and a Ryzen 5 3600x, and his system is a 1080p BEAST. That card would have no problem with 1080p at 144hz with your current CPU. But, if you want to squeeze the most performance out of the card, upgrade the CPU; if you don't mind a small bottleneck, then you don't NEED to get a new CPU. Thank you so much, you gave me the ideal upgrade I need, you the man, thank you so much bruh

5700 XT is a nice performance upgrade, but will require more power than your current card.
You should be looking at a quality 550w unit or better.
What is the make/model of your psu?

What kinds of games do you play?
Fast action games will benefit most from a stronger graphics card.
Sims, strategy and mmo not so much.

Try this simple test:
Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
This makes the graphics card loaf a bit.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.
