This is the system specs:

The IdeaCentre Q190 is the worlds smallest desktop PC
- Uniquely compact, it comes with a range of multimedia features that can turn your TV into an entertainment hub for games, videos and web browsing
- With full HD graphics, up to 7.1 surround sound, it doubles up as a mobile home theatre system
- 3rd gen Intel Core i3 Processor
- Windows 8.1 EM 64 bit
- 22 mm wide
- Compact design
- Integrated Intel HD graphics
- 4GB DDR3 Memory & 1TB HDD Storage
- Integrated High-Speed 802.11n Wi-Fi
- USB 2.0, USB3.0, HDMI connectors & 6-in-1 Card Reader supporting SDXC Format

Responsive Features:
- 7.1 channel surround sound support via HDMI
- S/PDIF for lossless digital audio output supporting 5.1 Channel Surround Sound
- Full HD Graphic Support

Originally used for general media device through a television, I am looking to use it as a stand alone pc with an emphasis on gaming for my son. He recently downloaded Skyrim and it doesn't appear to have enough "something" to load and play the game. I am looking to see if I can make upgrades to what I have as I don't necessarily want to invest in a new pc right now.

Thanks

Thanks for the information. Not necessarily what I wanted to hear, but helpful.
