i suggest that you buy a new pc build since that your pc is too old though.

Your computer specs is not that bad, I run less than that except for graphics card and have same amount of ram and can run most games and stuff, maybe not at full graphics but some at high or medium which is more than enough.

I dont recommend the the Geforce gt 640 though if possible rather go for 650 or 660, im running the 650 and its not bad and much better than the 640 and if you running a 64 bit windows you can maybe get another 4gb ram.
