Am I able to upgrade from this to this?
I'm looking to buy this specific CPU

They are the same sockets but, Do all Cpu's have pins? I need to know if that Core 2 Duo has pins because my P4 641 Has Pins and I really want to know before I buy it Ty <3

It should work man, you might need a BIOS update but in theory it should work fine!

no CPU's don't have pins CPU's have little circle pads, its the motherboard that has the pins that connect to these pads on the CPU.

They will be compatible though you may need a bios update as mentioned. Lga775 is the socket type and cpu's are categorized by the socket type to identify which will fit. It should work fine, the ecs 945g-m3 board supports core2 duo cpu's.

you need to go on the manufacturer website for the motherboard and search for your motherboard and it will have an option to download the newest BIOS update.
