[SOLVED] can I upgrade

hi all
I have an old PC maybe ten years ago but not use it for long time, I want use it for design on Cinema 4d not very heavy designs can I upgrade or should buy a new one ?
mianboard ,x58i
cpu core i7
ram 6g 1333
vga 550ti
hard SSD

Sorry for not making this one very clear. I am not sure how much does Cinema 4D take advantage of the graphics card, but usually the processor is the most important for suck tasks. A new cpu wold require a platform upgrade (cpu, motherboard, even ram).
If the performance doesn't suffice your needs anymore, a new graphics card might help (again, I don't know how much), but most likely a processor upgrade is what you need.

That system would be too old for that as the software is too bloated now. However, that system is perfectly fine for more pedestrian tasks like office work and general Internet.
