HI, I have the Dell Inspiron 15 7567 gaming laptop that only has 1 HDMI port. I want to use 144hz with G-sync monitor, so I chose the Dell S2716DG monitor (https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Gaming-S2716DGR-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B0149QBOF0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1538840906&sr=8-1&keywords=dell+gaming+s2716dgr+27.0%22+screen+led-lit+monitor+with+g-sync)

1. Does my laptop support 144hz with G-sync monitor?

2.If it does, then should I use DP cable? Are there any DP adapters that I can use DP cable on my laptop?

3.If there are no DP adapters, I chose a HDMI cable as well (https://www.amazon.com/4K-HDMI-Cable-Ethernet-Compatible/dp/B01N343SBS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1538841135&sr=8-3&keywords=Hdmi+144hz). Is it fine?

Solution
No gsync wont work over hdmi even with an adapter. And unless the monitor and laptop support HDMI 2.0 it wont run at 1440p 144hz either, with HDMI 1.4 i believe you could get 1440p 60hz.

Also a 1050 ti wont be capable of getting near 1440p 144fps in all but the least GPU intensive games.
