[SOLVED] Can i use 2 different kinds of monitors?

Hello, I was wondering is it ok to use two different type of monitors? As in I have a ROG Strix 2560x1440p monitor at 120hz and i have my other MSI Monitor (Can't remember the name) but that is a 1980x1080p 120hz. Both will be using DP's and i just wanted to make sure this was good before it messes with my other monitor because i normally just used the regular 60hz which is fine with me but it uses HDMI and it will always take all the applications onto that one and not my Main one. Please and thank you! Just dont know if its a good idea to mix and match

Do you mean you want to use them both at once, as in a dual monitor setup?

It should work fine, although may look a bit odd reading text etc. because of the different resolutions. Are you going to use them in 'extended' desktop mode, or just have them run different desktop on each monitor?

Different resolution shouldn't be an issue to a gpu. Different native refresh rates can be problematic though.
