I have a ryzen 5 1500x which only supports 2667 mhz ram, but i have some hyperx ram that is clocked at 3200mhz, can i use that ram, or will it hurt my pc?

Solution
The 1st gen Ryzen should be fine up to ~29xx-3000. You should check your motherboard literature and see what speeds it supports on "overclock". As the poster above pointed out, you might be able to just enable "XMP" and go. You might have to fiddle with manual timings somewhere in between.
