can i use 5.1 speakers on this?

Hi,
I'm getting the a550 5.1 speaker system for my PC, never had one and was wondering how it's wired up to your PC, will I need to buy anything extra for it?

Mobo- Asus m5a99fx pro r2.0

nah - there will be a couple of jacks and you will connect them to the back of your computer. just be sure to connect the right colours together /as the gray and green may be a bit tricky to guess under dim light/
