My PSU is : https://www.amazon.com/XFX-Wired-Bronze-Power-Supply/dp/B004RJ8EKI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469574637&sr=8-1&keywords=xfx+ts+550w
which has 2 x PCI 6+2 connectors, 2 x 6-pin
I ordered an MSI GTX 1060 : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137018&nm_mc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel&cm_mmc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel-_-Content-_-text-_-
and it requires 8 pin connector.
I've been running R9 270 that only uses a single 6 pin for 2 years, was wondering if I could use a 6+2 to connect to 8 ? My PSU obviously does not have a straight 8
