Can i use 96% Ethyl alcohol (denaturated) to clean my CPU

Hey!
So i recently bought a new system, and i'll be replacing everything, which will require me to apply new thermal paste aswell.. So i was just wondering if it would be fine if i clean off the paste from the AiO cooler and the CPU with some 96% denatured ethyl alcohol (denatured ethanol).

Yes....just let everything dry well before you fire it up.

How long would you say i'd have to let it dry for if i clean it with some kind of a towel and this ethanol?

I clean the thermal compound just with a paper and a water drop without all that stuff.

Well im just wondering about it since i couldnt find isopropyl alcohol (seems like everyone uses that) so i got ethanol (96%).. So it should be fine? (Cpu: ryzen 7 2700x; cpu cooler: nzxt kraken x62)

Yes, just let it dry as they told you.
