Found an old dusty IEC C13 power cable when cleaning my house today and it happens I need one to power my new PSU (the plug that came with it has a different socket type).
Is it safe to use in my PSU? The cable was left in small warm dusty inclosed room for around 10 years. Would the wiring or insulation inside the cable have degraded over time? Should I just buy a new one to be safe?

If the plastic is not brittle or broken, it should be OK. The degradation will most likely be brittleness of the plastic. Flex the cord a few times and make sure no cracks appear before using.
