Can I use a 240W AC adapter for a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series laptop? It came with a 130W but I would like to increase the power supply for gaming purposes. Is it ok or will it harm my computer?

Same voltage, plug fits, correct polarity, go for it.

Using a higher wattage adapter than what the system came with won't make it run faster.
