Hello guys, this is my 1st attempt to build a pc, and i have Gigabyte B85M-D2V motherboard, a i5-4590 cpu, and a gtx 960 vga, but i have my old power supply a Chieftec A120 chp-450a. My power supply only has a 4 pin power supply cable and my motherboard has only an 8 pin. So can i use the 4 pin in the 8 pin safely, and will it be enough for the cpu? I dont have any plan to overclock in the future.

Solution
yes it will be enough I have also a 8pin connection but only 4 fit and everything works perfectly fine. The GPU is the same story i believe. the cpu i'm sure about but not the gpu.
