Alright guys one more question about this.

My PSU comes with one 8 Pin PCIE cable that has two 8 pin (6+2) connectors on the end that are currently in both the 6 pin power connectors on the graphics card.

I want to get some nicer after market cables from silverstone but they only make a single 8 pin but I need two.

My question is this. Can I use a 6 pin cable in one of the peripheral ports to power the second 6 pin on the graphics.

I would buy these two cables

Ill put the one in the 8 pin port like it is right now

Ill put the other one in one of the Perf 6 pin ports

My only question is if its ok to do that with my PSU?

A nice pic of my PSU is at this link

Those cables you linked to are actually just extension cables so they would work. You would buy two of them and hook them up to the 6+2 pin connectors you already have hooked into your graphics card.

Do not use modular cables from other PSUs with your's though, the pin out likely won't match which can result in running 12V to ground or vice versa. Corsair does sell sleeved PSU cables for their other models, but i can't find any that are listed as compatible for the CSM. I'm sure there are some hiding somewhere, you may want to just email their support they should be able to send you in the right direction.
Hi

Only buy cables guaranteed to work with your corsair semi modular psu
Do you have any spare cables for it ?

The modular psu sockets do not have a recognised standard to follow that I am aware of and are not extension cables

It is not worth burning your psu & or gpu to see if they work

Well nobody makes a nice 8 pin connector with two 6+2 connectors on the other end. That is what I would need unless I can pit a 6 pin in one of the three perf connectors
