Can i use a DeepCool Ice Blade 100 Without the fan

i have a deepcool ice blade 100 cpu fan,

it's hard to install the fan unto the heatsink,
can i just use the heatsink then connect the case fan to the 3 pin of cpu fan header?
so the heatsink would be fanless but the intake and exhaust fan can provide air.

I'd imagine that it would only work for very low end CPU, the Celeron/Pentium tier. Any CPU higher than that would require a bigger heatsink to even half-function in a fanless configuration.

Whaaaaaat!! can you provide your specs and why you can't install it? is it because of RAM? or something else.
you can try to fit fan to the other side. as you can see in the image that you provided, fan is facing towards RAM so try to install it facing towards I/O ports.

its hard to install when in the case, the processor is placed on the upper region of the motherboard so i could not clip the fan onto the heatsink.

im using the cpu now temps are at 75 degree celsius even with newly placed thermal compund.

What I understand is, while installing cooler your fingers can't reach cooler to clip the fan, am I right?
The one thing that I can recommend is remove motherboard and then install cooler with fan and then reinstall motherboard.
and 75C is on Ideal or on load?, if Ideal then not a good sign for your CPU.

yup.
temp goes between 62 degrees to 80 degrees and im not running anything, although there are many host processes running on task manager.

but i will also have problem attaching the 4 pin on the upper left of the motherboard.
i'll try clipping the fan tom.
then if it can't i'll just buy a new one but which cpu fan should i get?

i meant the 4 pin 12v from the power supply. its on the upper left, the big heatsink somewhat blocks the path to it.

if its blocking then get a 4 pin extension try to find other way to connect it. wires can be bent easily OR replace the cooler.
