As i have a very old PC Monitor suppoting only VGA , and have a old gpu which also supports only VGA
My monitor supports a max resolution of 1366x768 with max 75Hz refresh rate suppots

I am buying a new GPU which will support HDMI , DVI
So my question is if i use a DVI to VGA converter using on my new graphic card and then to my old monitor VGA
Will i get better quality with DVI then the VGA
or the same quality of VGA as using the converter
i am basically saying that , will my screen qyality be improved using converter
will my old VGA only monitor have a quality of DVI
I hope you getting my point
sorry for bad english , any answers will be appriciated. :)

Solution
No.
Let me explain.
It starts out better in the dvi format that the graphics card is sending out but the vga adapter downscales it so the monitor can handle it a true dvi signal would just tear the screen your monitor isn't designed for it.
So you will be getting dvi downscaled aka same quality as straight up vga.
