Can I use a fan that's connected to a water pump header?

So this motherboard, I'd like to buy has 6x fan header, 1x CPU fan header, 4x system fan header and 1x water pump header. I'm not planning to use a water pump so I'm wondering if I can use that header for another case fan.

Yeah, and another thing... I'm also planning to buy a Ryzen 5 1600. It comes with the Wraith Spire cooler and I don't know if I should use it or just buy an aftermarket one. I've heard good things about the cooler and I'm wondering if any of you had the same experience with it.

Thanks.

Yup, not problem at all, im using an MSI x370 Gaming Pro Carbon and have 3x120mm fans connected to the CPU header, 3x120mm on the pump header, 3x120mm on the System Fan 1 header and 1x140mm on the System fan 2 header, I then have my water pump RPM signal cable connected to the system fan 4 header, this cable is only for monitoring the speed of the pump only, it gets its power via molex.
