Can I use a netgear n600 as just a router?

I know the Netgear n600 is labled as a "Modem Router" but I cant use the modem function of it due to having comcast so can i just use it as a router? OR is that not possible? Please help <3

Yes, this device can be used as a stand-alone router.

Plug an ethernet cable from your Comcast modem to the ethernet port labeled 4 in the diagram and you're good to go.
