[SOLVED] Can i use a radeon card instead of my nvidia card?

Hi all,

i have a Nvidia GTX 750 ti 4gb, and was wondering if i can replace it with an AMD radeon sapphire 8gb card? I have an intel chip,
i mean can we just swap out cards like that? nowadays? take out nvidia and place radeon??

After its you swap it make sure to uninstall nvidia drivers and download amd's.

That would work too, but removing the Nvidia driver before installing the AMD card is pretty foolproof & avoids potential conflicts.

Provided your PSU is up to the power draw of the new GPU (a 750TI is a 75W GPU), then yes.

As best practice you should remove the NVidia drivers (preferably in Safe Mode) before shutting down and switching out the GPUs.

But yes, you can definitely switch from Nvidia to AMD/Radeon.

Yes.
After its you swap it make sure to uninstall nvidia drivers and download amd's.

Would highly recommend for you to use DDU if you swap to amd from nvidia and vice versa.
