Can I Use a Switch

Hello,

I have ethernet coming from my wall, which is connected from a router which is connected to the cable modem (make sense?). I want to be able to hook my TV, PS3, and Apple Mini to this one ethernet wall jack. If I connect a switch to the ethernet wall jack and then the three devices to the switch will they all be able to share that one ethernet connection?

Or is there another way, or is this impossible?
