Can I use a vacuum?

Hi so my PC has a bit of dust build up and I was wondering if I could use a vacuum to clean out the dust I'm not made of money so I can afford a £50 air pressure thing. Thanks

Hi,
You can use it but be very careful during the process, to not damage components. Do not touch any of them while cleaning, even if some dust would remain. Power off the computer before.

Vacuums create static electricity which can be bad news for your PC components. I wouldn't risk it.

Air pressure can shouldn't cost more than 10 euro. Shop around. Or be cheap like me and just blow with your mouth. Eyes shut.

I've always used canned air and an old toothbrush for any sticky bits. As long as you're careful, you shouldn't run into any problems.
