Can I put a VGA splitter at the end of a VGA Cable?
I have two monitors that will show the same thing located 10 feet from the PC. Can I put the splitter at the end of the VGA extension cable so I only need to run one extension VGA cable?

Solution
VGA (normally a blue plug) can be split. Cable quality can cause issues. There are a lot of cheap adapters out there. Even some of the expensive ones are cheaply made. Read reviews.

I would prefer to do 2 cables out (you can use a DVI to VGA adapter to get 2 VGA and then do screen mirroring.

They are currently splitting the VGA port to two monitors without problem,so I know the splitter works. i just need to extend another 10 feet, As the cables have to run under machinery in provided ducts that are very full, I'd prefer just to run one cable then split it at the far end if it was possible. I guess i'll try it and see how I go.....
