Can I use an ASUS Strix GTX 980 TI in an Alienware Amplifier?

I recently purchased an Alienware 15" with an 970m graphics card. I was thinking of picking up an Alienware Amplifier to upgrade it to desktop performance when needed. The question I have is will an Asus Strix 980 TI work in the amplifier? My concerns are around the power supply. The amplifier puts out 460 watts and Dell says it supports a card up to 375 watts. I think this card is right around that limit. Thoughts?

They're using the best graphics card possible to get the most out of the test. Doesn't mean a GPU can't be held back. 3.5 Ghz is not bad at all though but I think a GTX 980 Ti is kinda pushing it. Perhaps a GTX 970/R9 390 instead would be better.

There are quite a few reviews out there with guys using a Titan X so I think it would be ok, no? The processor is an i7 6700 HQ quad core 3.5ghz
