Question Can I use an M.2 Key A+E 2-port SATA adapter in a CNVio M.2 Key E slot

One of the boards on my list for an Unraid build is the ASRock N100M as a low-power option.

Now, it doesn't have a lot of SATA ports, but you can expand it with various controller cards and M.2 adapters.

One of the M.2 slots is a Key E at PCIe 3.0 x1, usually meant for WiFi/BT, so I figured I could just add an M.2 Key A+E 2-port SATA adapter in there, e.g. this one:

(JMB582 chipset; should work on Unraid.)

However, in the motherboard specifications it says this:
1 x M.2 Socket (Key E), supports type 2230 Intel® CNVio (Integrated WiFi/BT)**
and
** M.2 PCI Express module is not supported
Now this is obviously about which kind of WiFi modules you can put into this slot: they have to be CNVio modules, with the signal handled by the CPU afaik, not regular PCIe modules.

My question now is, if this CNVio restriction prohibits me from using this M.2 Key E slot for a 2-port SATA adapter. Anyone who knows? Thank you in advance.
