Can i use Any 2 Molex to power R7 265 OC

can i use any 2 molex in my PSU to power R7 265 OC? my PSU is 550 watts no 6 pin connector the recommended PSU of the R7 265 OC is 550 watts and 24 amps... are there different types of molex or all molex are the same and can be use to convert 2 molex to 6 pin to power R7 265 OC???

You have a 750w power supply with no pcie connections????

Open your case and post back with the info on the sticker of the unit.

Or if you can take a picture and post it that would be better.

It's either an ANCIENT unit OR a piece off crap rebadged as a 750w unit.

sorry i forgot i though my psu is 750... its only 550 watts...
edited my PSU is 550 watts
no 6pins but theres 1 4pins
i have spare 3 molex or 4

I wouldn't trust that PSU to run your computer, it seems like a generic brand PSU with little to no information when googled.

Yes it will work since it's a lower end GPU.

The problem is this: Not all power supplies are created equal.

The power supply you have i would not trust running a toaster.

It says it is 600w, it's most likely a 300w crap unit that blows up if you try to get 550w out of it.

You can use the molex adapters if you want, it might work it might not.

The psu could blow up as soon as you turn it on, it could last a while...

/shrug up to you.
