Can i use any DDR3 RAM?

Can i use any DDR3 RAM on my ddr3 motherboard or must it be a compatibe one from this list?

Yes you can use any even ones that are not listed there but if you already have installed one it is good to get the same one for stability issues.

Not all DDR3 will run on it.

In theory you should be able to use any DDR3 memory. However, some memory may be incompatible due to certain memory parameters which the memory controller may not recognize or work with properly.

Recommend using memory listed as being compatible according to memory manufacturer memory searches for your motherboard, and also according to the memory QVL list from Asus.
