Yes, there are 'adapters'. Not the greatest solution.

1. It is an 8 year old model.

A no name "lens", that does not integrate with the camera functions, and requires an adapter.
Your results will be mediocre at best.

I expect any current camera phone will produce a better picture than that combination.

No, that's for a Yashica lens to an NX body.

Do you have a recent mobile phone?
That will almost certainly capture a better image than that crappy lens.
