I have Asus GeForce V6800 graphics card on my system and Windows 98SE and WindowsXP both installed. I also have a Canopus 3D Pure 3Dfx Voodoo card which I was using when I had Matrox G200 card. Can I now use this Canopus card with the GeForce card? Is there any complication in using it?
Thanks for the help in advance.

I used to play Need for Speed on my old PC and the graphics were stunning with the Canopus card. Bur with V6800, the system takes on software rendering and the graphics are not as good. If I switch to 3D Device I get a warning that the card is not supported by the game and it may not work properly.

It will still work properly, goto the start>menu>Need for Speed, select 3D Setup, select D3D Device 1. When it says it "may not work properly" ignore that. The game doesn't recognize the card, BUT IS set up for the old Riva 128ZX, from which all later nVidia cards are based.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
