Can I use Athlon II X4 640 CPU on M2N68 AM Plus motherboard ?

I have a question to ask
Currently I am using Athlon II X2 245 CPU, 2+2 GB DDR2 RAM 800 Mhz and R7 250 2 GB DDR3 graphics card on my M2N68 AM Plus Motherboard. I want to upgrade my CPU to Athlon II X4 640. So, will my motherboard will be able to handle the CPU ? I have read on CPU upgrade that my motherboard could support Athlon II X4 640. Since you guys are the expert, I just want to make sure that there won't be any problem and will AM3+ socket support X4 640 ?
