Can I use aura sync on a strix card without an asus motherboard?

Can I use aura sync on a strix card without an asus motherboard? Or do I really have to get an asus aura sync motherboard? I want to get the msi z370 sli plus motherboard and I need to know if I can use aura sync for my strix card with this motherboard. thank you

" Synchronization is enabled and controlled by Aura-ready motherboards. Visit the support page for your Aura-enabled motherboard to download Aura software, by clicking Driver & Tools followed by Utilities. "

So no, you need one of the Asus boards listed at he bottom of the page that support it.

I would say, depends on what you want to achieve. If you want to synchronize the light effects between motherboard and GPU, then as getochkn already quoted, you need asus motherboard. However, if all you want is to control the light effects on GPU via Asus software, then I believe it should be possible using Asus GPUTweak. Can't say for sure though.
