Hello, I have found my old latop that I havent used in few years.

It is Asus X553M
It says that its processor is Intel BayTrail M Quad Core 3540 up to 2.66GHz with 4GB of ram

Im planning on upgrading it to 8GB of ram and add an SSD

Can any one tell me if I can use it for AutoCAD without any problems

I'm an architect by education/profession, so please bear with me when I ask you what version of AutoCAD you want to work with...since I've been working with AutoCAD since 2006.

If you want to tax the laptop with the latest version of AutoCAD, then you need to rethink your upgrade plans, and invest in a concurrent laptop/system/platform.

For todays tasks, that processor will struggle and the highest amount of ram, given you get 1x8GB stick will not be enough. Yes an SSD will help make the laptop feel like new, since the boot times will be slightly faster than the HDD(but the platform on the laptop will hold you back).

Well I was thinking about AutoCAD 2016. Would it be alright ? maybe 2018 version ?
