Hello. I have a B365M Pro4 motherboard. I wondered if its possible to connect one of my 4 pin PWM fans to my auxiliary CPU air/watercooling fan (CPU_FAN2/WP) especially seeing as I am not going to be using water cooling or a second CPU?

I have a PWM fan splitter cable but I've heard that it might cause both fans to be able to draw less energy if they need it.

The fans I am using in question are Coolermaster Sickleflow 120mm fans.

Solution
I ask in order to do better cable management if possible.
Yes, you can connect up to 3 120mm PWM fans to any connector. It's just a question of which temperatures it's going to use for speed regulation.
Look up in BIOS for it's control but most likely connected to CPU_FAN2/WP it will regulate speed according to CPU temps.
