I render on Daz3d and it makes my computer slow while its rendering. I wanted to see if i put in a 1050 ti if that would help or if i can use it while the 1070ti is being used for rendering? If so how do I go about this? Do I just plug it in and go?

To an extent. It will use whichever has enough memory to fit the scene into the vram. A 2gb scene would run on both. An 8gb scene would only go the the 1070ti
You also need to have a recent 64 bit version of Daz, say within the last year. (Not sure when they began supporting this but definitely within the last year year and a half)
