I am installing a motherboard. They only gave me 4 coated black screws to install it and there are 9 holes in motherboard. The directions call for 6 screws to install it. Can I use non-coated screws from an old computer to install motherboard? Do I need to put screw in each of 9 holes? Will it matter if some are coated and some not?

Solution
" Can I use non-coated screws from an old computer to install motherboard?"
Yes, if the size is correct.
"Do I need to put screw in each of 9 holes?"
yes
"Will it matter if some are coated and some not?"
No.
Make sure that each standoff in the case matches a hole on the motherboard.
