Question Can i use Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10) on Gigabyte H81-MS ?

Hello,

I have gigabyte H-81MS Motherboard with Intel Coirei5 with 4th generation. I am planning to increase my RAM. Can I use 2 RAM - Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10) on the same.

If going forward if I upgrade the Desktop to better CPU (Intel Corei5 8th generation)and MotherBoard, will this RAM work there.

My work is mostly web development and analytics.

So kindly guide me

You can use that DDR3 on your current setup , but not on a future board with 8th gen , that would require DDR4.
