Can I use ddr ram 1.35v in a ddr3L slot?

I bought a dell inspiron 7559. Amazon had a sale on ram. Its crucial ram and its 1.35v ddr3. I didnt realize the laptop says you need ddr3L . But from what I have read DDR3L is just ram thats 1.35v, so should the ram work? thx

Sounds like it is DDR3L. Can you link us to the model RAM that you have?
