[SOLVED] can I use ddr3 ram in ddr3l ram slot?

I have dell inspiron 15 5558 and I want to but more ram put I have only ddr3 ram .

Theoretically yes.
But you have to set dram voltage to 1.35V. Not all DDR3 can work at that voltage.
It may be necessary to reduce ram frequency for it to be stable.

If you don't change voltage, DDR3 will run at 1.5V and may damage cpu memory controller.
