Can i use DDR4 RAM on the DDR3 Motherboard?

Can i use DDR4 RAM on the DDR3 Motherboard? So, i want to build a budget gaming pc and then i saw a Crucial Ballistix 4GB DDR4 RAM at a cheap price and if i wonder that the ddr4 ram can be use on a ddr3 mobo, because if i buy a ddr4 mobo its will cost me really expensive.

No, you can't. It is not backwards compatible.

you can't, it won't even fit (i don't own one, but ddr, ddr2, ddr3 are all physically different, you won't be able to install them in a wrong slot

It's not that is not compatible is that there's a notch on the bottom of the ram stick you have to line it up with the motherboard every DDR is has different notch DDR3 is near the middle in the front of the ram and I'm not really sure about the other ones but I know the notch on every one of them is different because I did have a ddr4 I used to it got broken
