[SOLVED] Can i use ddr4 ram with another ddr3 ram

i have one 4gb ddr3 ram.
Now i wanna upgrade ram
so thinking to buy new 4gb ddr4 ram.

So question is like,
will ddr4 ram work fine with ddr3 ram?

No. They don't even fit in the same slots. There were a very few motherboards that had DDR4 and DDR3 slots, but you could only use one or the other type.

I have 2 slots of ram
so in 1st slot 4gb ddr3
and in 2nd slot 4gb ddr4

it not gonna work?

If you have one of those motherboards with both type slots, only one or the other will work.

Then you need to read the motherboard manual. It should confirm what I am saying. The name brand motherboards, like this one -- https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B150M Combo-G/
supported one or the other at a time.
