Can I use DVI D and DVI I for dual monitor?

Hey I had an old monitor and wanted to use it as a second one. my GPU has a DVI D and DVI I, currently I am using the DVI I. The GPU I am currently using is a GT 740 4gb vram. Anyone know if it would work with dual if i used both DVI ports?
