Can I use electrical tape to hold wires down?

Hey guys, I just bought a sleeved LED strip that I want to put in my computer. Would it be okay to use electrical tape to secure it to various parts of the computer case?

I've done this multiple times over the last two years building towers for customers. I'm a lot more particular with my own towers. Regardless, it gets the job done, and often times better depending on the situation. I've adopted using clear electrical tape in many cases. Though it can be a little more expensive at times

I have liquid cooling and 5 corsair fans so idle temperatures for me are around 32C. Would I run into any problems with the tape getting gooey or melting as a result of heat?

I remember being concerned with the same thing actually. But believe it or not, most electrical tape is slated for temps up to 80C
