Hi, I was wondering if I connect WiFi through my WiFi range extender by my Asus router with Ethernet cable. I have Sky modem which is downstairs. I don’t really want to connect my Ethernet cable from modem downstairs to my asus router upstairs as I have kids in my house which may trip over. So I was hoping if I can put a WiFi range extender upstairs then connect the Ethernet cable Asus router to connect my pc. Will it work?

You probably can't use a WIFI bridge on the WAN of your Asus router. If that "sky modem" is really a modem (one ethernet port and no WIFI) then you can't do what you want.
