Question Can i use external mic with headset?

So my big issue is when i stream i use my headset which is a Hyperx cloud revolver and the mic is detachable, anytime i talk i hear feedback that my audience does not want to hear.
If i bought an external mic is there a way to use the external mic, and still use the headset for audio??? If that makes sense, definitely not using my webcam as a mic. I am on pc btw

It is a whiney noise whenever i start talking i did add noise suppressions in streamlabs because it would whine the whole time during stream but ig appears when i talk, the whine doesnt get loud it just stays the same and wont stop, sometimes i will hear echos bug the main issue is the whine
