At the moment I’m building my new PC which I’ve chosen to use water cooling with. Among the parts that I ordered, I received a Cooler Master MasterLiquid 120 which unfortunatly came with a faulty. The power cable that lead to the water pump was torn, which led to me having to order a new one.

The company which I claimed a new cooler from told me I could just «dispose of» the broken cooler. As it’s only the power cable to the water pump that’s the issue, I figured maybe I could use the 120mm fans for the radiator as potential SYS_FAN’s?

Solution
Yes, why not?
Just bear in mind if you run out of fan hubs that you can split the header to x fans until the 1A, like lets say fans uses 0.2A you can hook up 5 of those same.
