can I use FM2 aftermarket coolers on a FM2+ motherboard?

I'm still learning about computers and I want to know is there forward compatibility for FM2+ motherboards with FM2 aftermarket coolers?

I'm looking at this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103195 and I have the ASrock Extreme6+ A88X FM2+ motherboard.

also if anyone knows of a better Water cooler within this price range please show me.

Yes you can. It is the same as FM2 and AM3+
