[SOLVED] Can I use Gsync on an monitor that does not have Freesync?

This is an monitor with no freesync, but is it possible I could download drivers to use Gsync? Dumb question I know.

Unfortunately not, Gsync monitor's have a chip inside to perform Gsync.

You do have options though with Nvidia's inclusion of ultra low latency, though limited in some games depending on Directx level and Vulkan. Another Vsync option is fast.

Dang, I thought it'd work the same since Nvidia stated you only have to download drivers to utilize "artificial" Gsync

There is no "artificial" G-Sync.

FreeSync monitors have a chip inside just like G-Sync monitors do, it's just not manufactured by NVIDIA.
