Can i use half of my 8 pin power connector to power my mother board sa

according to corsair the CX600 PSU comes with 1 x 4+4 Pin ATX 12V cable so you would just snap it and use one the 4-pin connectors on that cable. yes it will work fine, the cable is designed for mobos with 4-pin CPU power connectors.
