I don't have coffee filters or microfiber cloth to wipe off thermal paste from my cpu and heat sink and dont want to use paper towels. would using a shirt be a problem? I'm thinking about one shirt i have to use as a cloth (70% bamboo viscose and 30% cotton). Would it cause unwanted static or would it be a-okay to use?

The only problem I see is trying to get the stuff off, I have stuff called TimClean which takes Thermal Paste off very easy, with the Coffee Filter and Microfiber cloth it's just some people go mental and I don't know they start just spewing crap out, try scraping off what you can with a bank card before hand.

I would also recommend you turn the PC on and let it run for a bit before you do it so the paste will heat up and be easier to remove.

thanks guys. i appreciate the help =)
