Can I use it as a monitor?

Hi, I bought the MSI Wind Top AE2220 All in One PC a few years ago, and nowadays I am not really happy with it's performance. I'm building a PC next week, but I would like to save some money by not buying a monitor. Can I use the MSI all in one as a monitor for my PC? (it has an HDMI input)

If it has an actual HDMI input, maybe. Not just an HDMI port, but an actual input.

According to the specs: http://www.msi.com/product/aio/Wind-Top-AE2220.html#?div=Specification
...it does say "HDMI in". Unsure if it can be 'just a monitor', or whether you'd have to be running the (crappy) system already on it.

You'd just have to try it and see.
Look in the users manual and see what it says.
